Hunts International was founded in 1942. The Hunts Policy of continuous investment in the latest equipment, materials, our career development and training. Hunts International have assisted thousands of satisfied customers in facilitating removals to practically every location in the world, UK, National, Europe & International shipping.

At the beginning of 2004, the company purchased another half acre site adjacent to their existing premises which allowed them to double the current storage capacity. In 2007 the company expanded again and also opened a storage facility in France to assist them with all the removals/storage to, from and within Europe that they are now being asked to undertake. In 2009 Neil James retired and Adam Oakley took on the role of Managing Director, with his wife Paula as Company Secretary. Adam Started work for Hunts in 1992 and has worked in every position within the company including porter, export packer, continental driver, fork lift driver, warehouse manager, estimator and transport manager. Adam is now looking forward to the new challenges of expanding the business in the next few years.

Where do I begin? It first started off with hiring a company in UAE called Euromovers. It started off well with them when they came to visit and collect the goods, then my suspicions of a rouge company started to arise from the lack of communication. It took Euromovers months to even get to the stage of shipping my goods. ( I could go on for hours about how Euromovers were but I will end that story here )
The goods finally got shipped ( 4 months after collecting from our home ) and the container with our and other peoples goods arrived at port in the UK. This is where Hunts International came in to the picture. Well actually Hunts International were oblivious to the container arriving as Euro movers had not informed them and shipped it under their name. I later found out that the container had been sat at the port for weeks until Hunts had been contacted by the relevant person(s) at the port to inform them.
Hunts then stepped in to action and tried to make contact with Euromovers to resolve the fact that Euromovers HAD NOT EVEN PAID THE SHIPPING COSTS!!!!!!! As you can imagine I was outraged at this point as Euromovers had seriously let me and my family down!
I was contacted by Lance Hunt from Hunts International and he had explained to me that he that the Euromovers had not paid the shipping line and many other parties. He explained that that they had paid the costs in order to get the container with my goods on board released from the port and to their warehouse. At least it was safe and sound at this point and not in no mans land. I spoke with Lance/Adam and Daryl along the way and they kept me well informed of the progress.
Once they got all the costs from the shipping line that the rats Euromovers had used and all the charges from the port, they contacted me and gave me the costs. As you can imagine I was furious as I had already PAID Euromovers for a door to door service. But I understood that I Had no choice as Euromover had completely stitched me up. Saying that I can not be more thankful for the team at Hunts as they have done nothing but help me along this very difficult situation that I hope that I never face again. I have been informed by Lance that some of the other people that had their goods on board are not so happy. I can only say that they must have blinkers on and more foolish for them for not being able to understand how they have helped us so much. Our goods would still have been at port building storage costs on a daily basis.
When I do come to move again, I will most certainly be using Hunts again as they have gone above and beyond the line of duty.
Long and short of this review is

Hunts International = Fantastic company that have gone above and beyond what was expected of them. Thank you for all your help from the bottom of my heart.
Euromovers = Lying, deceitful RATS ( they will go to court for this, I have since found out that the owner of Euromovers also owns another company that the police will be in touch with soon)
